Both when I had a bird with a broken wing at night on a weekend and when I needed to have my dog put down, Bunyip Vet was excellent. Could not recommend it enough.
Ive been going to Bunyip vets for many years. At the start they were great, they went above and beyond for my cat that got bitten by a snake and my dog that got injured but in the last year theyve gone downhill to the point I refuse to go there. The older lady on the front desk is just downright disrespectful, I got a new German Shepherd puppy and brought him in for needles. She yelled at me saying you better nip that in the butt, we wont have that here when he started barking (only barked because a new dog walked in and he was excited, he stopped straight away). After that she refused to even look at my dog or acknowledge that he was even there. Dont get me wrong, there are some lovely staff there but this lady always made me feel very uncomfortable going in towards the end because of her rude remarks towards me. Your vets should be a place where you feel comfortable, theyll greet and talk to your pets, it kind of feels like you are going to see your friends when you go there, I stopped feeling that that towards the end. I would like to thank Bunyip vets for the amazing years I did have but fortunately I have now found a new vets to go to, where I walk in, they all say hello, always greet my animals and comment on how well trained they are or how beautiful they are. Give big pats and treats, I never leave feeling upset or uncomfortable and I know at the end of the day, they have given 100% with their customer service and treatment, they are also well priced.
